Message received and is as follows:
“Dear future commanders and generals,
This is the project leader speaking, Mickael, aka Sacapuss.
In order to help you gain a better understanding of our project, our mission and the direction in which we would like to proceed, we have decided to provide you with some background information about the project and share our motivations and goals for Tactical Strike - European War.
Everything began within Guilde Agora which is a gaming association that was created back in 2004. The association was formed with the goal of playing various multiplayer games and from 2007 until 2010, most of us enjoyed playing World in Conflict.
Not too long after, in 2013, one of the members from the association suggested that we should create our own game and after contacting Massive Entertainment in Sweden who forwarded us to Ubisoft, and after some advice from their representatives, we were convinced that making our own game from scratch was the path we wanted to take.
We have spent the majority of 2014 setting things up, creating a studio and figuring out all the details with Ubisoft providing their assistance in any way they could and by the end of 2017, all of the legal business was settled and we were free to start coding the pre-alpha version of the game.
Fast forward to today, and here we are with a pre-alpha version of the game in our hands with working Infantry gameplay and functional core of the game which was made using the Unreal Engine. Over the past year, we have had many people come and go from the project, but we finally have a consistent team of freelance developers, artists and game designers who are working diligently in order to make the full version of the game. While things are not going as quick as we have hoped to, they are steadily progressing and we are one step closer to the finished product every day.
As far as our goals go, we only have one which is to make a real multiplayer game with a focus on action and tactical gameplay and support the game for a very long time. A lot of the game and its features are created by the community and our developer team, and I can assure everyone that this game will not be given up on and that everyone on the team is giving their 100% to make this project happen.
Expect another transmission soon,
Over and out.”
End of transmission.
